Lux is both—a sound and light based—interactive installation. The computer generated light patterns—together with the sound—are sent to a projector which projects into a physical-crystal. The projected white light —hitting the crystal, causes the phenomena of refraction. Lux detects via camera tracking the movement of a user that interrupts the refracted ray of light; not only it is able to detect the interruption of the light ray, but the previously computer generated sound is modulating accordingly, creating an infinite loop. The different components of audio, visual and interaction are connected and affecting each other, creating a fully immersive experience for the user.
